About me

Hi everyone!

Thanks for visiting my website. My name is Irantzu and I come from Bilbao, Spain. I arrived with my family in Switzerland in 2014. It’s over 9 years that we enjoy life in Wallisellen.

I'm a person that loves animals, nature, travelling and meeting other people. Before coming to Switzerland, I lived in Spain, Italy, France, England, Morocco and Ireland. I love languages too and I speak Spanish (mother tongue), German (TELC B1), English, French and Italian.

In 2022, I graduated as a dog groomer at New Dog Salon (Domdidier, Switzerland). From September 2022 to April 2023, I worked as a dog groomer and dog-sitter at the Paw House, Zürich.

 

In May 2023, my dream came true: I opened my own dog salon in Wallisellen. At Holy Dog Salon, we offer grooming and dog-sitting services. Dog-sitting is just for dogs of up to 15kg. The salon has 81sqm for the dogs to enjoy!

In November 2022, I started a course at AOA Formation (Geneva) as a dog trainer. I want to learn more about the canine world: dogs' history, communication, dog sports... During our training we only use the positive approach as the priority is the dog’s well-being.

 

With puppies, old dogs or reactive/scared dogs I might have to do some desensitization. I’ll make those dogs come several times so they get used to the new place. I want them to have a good experience at the salon so that they want to come back.
